CatDV and DAX ?
Is anyone here using the CatDV And DAX solution?
How is it? Does it work with LTO-5? Does it support spanning across multiple tapes?
How much is it? I couldn’t find any prices on the DAX Website. -

We gave it a try over a year ago and while the DAX plug in for CatDV was very slick we didn’t like the DAX onto top of BRU architecture. BRU is very back-up centric and we felt it was limiting when asked to do archiving.

So what are you using now?

We are using PresStore for now, but with no DAM interface and limited scalability we will be demoing Atempo next week as possible replacement.
