I have a shot a ‘Making Of” documentary using the Sony PMX-X200 in XAVC-L and need to edit in FCP X. As my version of FCP does not support that format I need to transcode the media to pro res 422. I have done this without any hitches.

However I soon noticed that not all of the clips were transcoded. When I checked what had happened it is clear that CB does not show the last few clips of each XDROOT folder. They are visible in Finder and I can drag them into CB and watch the clips but I can’t transcode them as they need to be selected (and to be selected they need to be shown in the file directory of CB)

Any help would be appreciated as I need some of the clips to continue with the edit.

    Cheers
    Harry.

Here is the phone number for the UK help desk:

    044-1-256-683850

I assume that the “044” is the US country code…but this is the number that the US help desk gave me…good luck…

Bill you are a legend! I looked for a number online and couldn’t find one. 44 is the code for the UK. You just swap it for a 0 if your calling from here.

Thanks very much and I will let you know if I have any success.

    Harry.
