Catalogs for BRU PE ? (transfered from SAN Networks)

This seems like the most appropriate forum for this question.
Is there a way in BRU PE to build a catalog from a tape that has no catalog?
The way it seems to work is that you build one when you first back up a tape, and it’s stored to your root hard drive. And if you want to restore from that tape, you HAVE to have the catalog that you created in the same location always.
But, what if a client has a similar system that’s running the same drive and software, but doesn’t have the catalog?

I can’t answer your question, but I had a question for you.
How do you like BRU PE?
Would you recommend it?
What are it’s weaknesses?We are looking for an archive software and I’ve never heard or seen any feedback on the BRU PE software.
