Cataloging
Hey guys not sure if this is the right place but since my question is storage related here it goes.
I work for a company that has probably about 25 to 30 hard drives with video projects archived (stuff from agencies, internal work and others) when I get the HDs in I screen capture the content window print it and tape it to the box, and I drop the HD into Disk catalog maker (Toast utility), but now I’m asked to find a cataloging solution that everyone in the building can access at any time to know what’s what and where, they don’t need to playback any of the actual files or anything just view the HD contents, so I googled but didn’t find anything … anyone using anything that resembles what we need or know of have any ideas, paid or free doesn’t matter.

p.s. we’re primarily Mac, but all the account execs are on PCs so needs to be cross platform solution.

I’ve found Apace to be a great solution.
