  Casting a shadow on black…

  Hi All!!

  I’m trying to create a graveyard scene in 3D. I want a light to cast a shadow of the gravestone. Everything around it is in black and I understand you cannot cast shadows onto black.

  My shadow should not be a black shadow though, I wanted to use light transmission to create a light ‘shadow’ – which I thought might work onto black but it doesn’t. Should I be looking a a reflection? Any technique to do this would be great 🙂
