Case for HPX170
Posted by Neil Myers on January 22, 2010 at 7:32 amAny suggestions for a good travel case for the HPX-170? Most of my travel is by car or in my own plane (Cirrus), but occasionally I do fly commercial. I worry about the bag smashers.

January 22, 2010 at 2:58 pmI’d go with an Anvil or a Pelican. But it also comes down to whether you plan to check in or carry on. Most DPs will say you check in the heavy gear but always carry on the camera body.

January 22, 2010 at 4:31 pmHi Neil:
I highly recommend the CineBags CB25 backpack. Noah is right, you do need to carry the camera on when you fly and a backpack is the easiest way to do so. You can read this thread and see the images I posted to see my 170 and all of the other accompanying accessories that I can fit into the CB25.
Enjoy!
