I’m working in CS4, following Aharon Rabinowitz’s tutorial to do cartoonification. I noticed the tutorial was created for CS2… Is there an updated work flow for CS4 to create this effect?

    Thanks,
    Eric

You mean like the Cartoon effect, which was added in After Effects CS4?

Yes, I found the cartoon effect and it seems to do the same thing. Thanks. I ended up being able to do a key and apply a stroke which gave a much more controlled line.
