Hey,
Im planning to extend my studio, what is so far a MacPro G5 and some External Harddrives.
I want to buy a card for my edit system, so i can connect a ext (tv)monitor on it, for now.
What do you guys recomend?
Im working on Final Cut for editing, and using AE for motion graphics.
Im planning to buy the Adobe production premium, so i want it to work on Premiere aswell.
Also later, i will buy a Raid.For DV, DV-CAM, HDV, DVCPRO.

Do a search for HD card, Video Card, etc… on this forum This has been discussed hundreds of times and probably 10 times in the past two weeks.
As for Premiere and FCP, the AJA Kona card will be able to do this once the drivers are released. But be aware, running two NLE’s on the same system can cause conflicts.

While I work with and trust the AJA cards, if the Blackmagic Intensity or Intensity Pro cards do what you want, they’re hard to beat as far as price goes.
