    Hi all,
I’ve searched through the posts and haven’t found a situation similar to my problem. I’m trying to use Card Dance to produce the simplest of effects, but I”m running into a problem. I’ve applied Card Dance to a layer and set the back layer to a precomp containing the back layer image. All I want is a 12 x 9 group of cards showing this:

to flip on the y axis to this:

    but instead, I get this:

It seems like I’m missing something so simple, but I can’t for the life of my figure out why the cards are behaving the way they are and what to do about it.

    I’m running CS3 on a dual 2.7 PowerMac G5.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

The image on the back side is reversed, flipped, 180 degrees. Difficult to explain but you need to flip it before applying it to the back face. You can’t flip it at the layer level, it has to be precomped (or done externally and reimported) because Card Dance sees layers before transformations. Umm, usually.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
