    Hi all,

I’ve been trying to get some motion blur on the Card Dance effect, but when I precomped it and added CC Force Motion Blur I got a strange result. Instead of getting a smooth set of 8 samples along the path, I got a weird collection of only three samples (1st, 3rd and 7th I think).

Anyone come across this? No idea what’s going on here.

is your card dance layer pre-comped and cc force motion blur applied to the pre-comp?

it’s also possible that your gradient layer that is driving your movement is not smooth. you can try working in a higher bit depth to get more tonal variation to drive the movement… try 16-bit-per-channel for both the gradient map and the working comp.
