Card Dance
Curious as to if there was a way to change the shapes in the Card Dance effect…I want to round off the edges of the “cards”…is this just crazy?

Crazy can be good, and Yes you can.
Basically you just make the shape you want with a mask, then load that mask into a grid. Make the grid to fit the Card Dance setup you

I realize this thread is from quite a while ago, but in the event someone is still watching it could you please explain in a little more detail how to achieve this effect? I have the Card Dance effect applied to a text layer that I would like to apply a custom shape to. So essentially have all of the individual “Cards” become “Stars”. The final goal is to have a cloud of stars come together to create the text as a whole.
