Hi Dave,

I want the hat to break up into fractured pieces and the fractured pieces to form the second hat. In other words, I want to use the card dance as a transition between two objects (hats in this case)

Can’t you achieve the same effect with card wipe?
It lets you transition frome 1 source to another, with cards…

card wipe might be better suited for a transition…

it’s been a while since i’ve used card wipe, but i remember it had ‘jitter’ settings that could be manipulated to sort of explode out an image. i think you could time that up with the transition property and make them re-form to the other image.
