Having some problems cloning an installed OS tiger disc to another SATA drive. The new SATA is in the G5 with the other. I just keep getting a password error but I know it’s right. It just sort of hangs after the password is entered.

    Any tricks here?

I’ve had mixed results in the past with CCC. Any experts out there? Hidden settings. Any other thoughts?

I don’t know if this will help, but I just used this app for the first time, copying a data drive (video) to a backup drive which I couldn’t use it because all folders were set read only. FCP loaded but I got an error the moment I saved. Apparently CCC makes the root folder R/W but everything else up the tree is R/O. I cloned it again and the same thing happened. My fix was to go into Finder from the root position and change the attributes globally.
