  capyuring Hd video stalls then restarts

  The issue,

  When I try to capture 1080i footage from my sony HDW 500 to fcp5.04 starts then at any random time stalls a few frames then restarts…..any suggestions? Capture shows the start and stop.

  Here is the system G5 dual 2.7 8 gigs of ram Apple 5.6tb raid fibre channel, fcp hd
