    Hi. What is the ‘best’ most professional way to capture video from my HDV Video camera onto my computer for use in Premiere Pro. Is it just firewire? (Just checking im doing the right thing) Thanks,

    HD-SDI. Otherwise firewire.

    read Tim Kolb’s new tutorial about HDV workflow. The common understand is that editing native HDV is a bad idea.
