I am trying to capture footage shot on an XL1 through my Sony PD150 and I am having these waves of pixelation. I was told it was shot at a “slower shutter speed” and a “better setting” but the camera person is not available to ask exactly. I have turned my camera to a 30 shutter and put on progressive scan, but cannot get rid of the pixels. Any suggestions?

You may have to digitize it from the XL1. Even though there shouldn’t be, there are some compatibility issues between Canon/Panasonic and Sony that I’ve noticed. That is what has worked for me. Good luck.

Thank you. Though I don’t have access to the camera. Any other suggestions?
