I have a Video Interface which is black box of Pinnacle. But Sony Vegas Pro 10 is not able to record any video and audio…

I think Pinnace one works only for Pinnacle Software not using Sony Vegas Pro…
So, now I’m looking for the interface to record with Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe Premier CS5 if it’s possible.

Please recommend to me which one is simple and good quality to record video and audio for my PC.

    Thank you very much.

I’d recommend a Canopus ADVC-110. If you don’t need to print back to tape you can use the Canpous ADVC-55. If you need timebased correction you should get the Canopus ADVC-300 (which is what I have)

I am not familiar with the “Pinnacle Black Box”. Is it the DV-500? I can’t imagine why it couldn’t work with Vegas as long as you have the latest drivers.

    What are you capturing from?
Also, as John said, the AVDC series is still the best.

    Mine is https://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Home+Video/Studio+Family/Instant+Video+Recorder.htm
But I’m thinking to buy ADVC-300. It’s just little expensive than I thought….T.T

I just want to capturing from S-Video VGA or RCA Yellow Cable from my other computer which is Macbook Pro.

Pinnacle has a long history of making proprietary hardware that only works with their software. The only problem is that they have some of the most buggy software in the world. I have two of their capture cards that can no longer be used so I know from first hand experience.

The Canopus ADVC series works with any computer that has s firewire port. I’m not sure the newer Mac’s have firewire ports anymore so make sure that yours does before you buy.

    Thank you very much.
I’m gonna record into my PC so this one has firewire so I will try.

I’ve got one of those – it’s for copying A/V to the iPod, not for video capture.

The AVDC-300 is the pinnacle (pun intended) of the analog to firewire capture devices. It’s expensive but the TBC is worth the extra $$.
