capturing via Sony VX1000
Hi everyone,
FCP has been recognizing my VX1000 intermittently, until this last week. Now, I cannot coax it into cooperation, and I have footage I’m in need of for a doc I’m working on. FCP does not recognize/see the firewire.
I have checked and re-checked the settings, but nothing seems to change. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?

I still miss my VX1000, have you tried using other firewire cables?

“If the cable is not the problem, just borrow any other DV camcorder and try capturing from that.
