Normaly I capture VHS SP playing it with a Panasonic AG-W1-P, capture via a Canopus ACedvio card installed in my pc. But when the tape is LP there is my big problem.
I work hard to obtain a solution, but negative.
I will appreciate any help and thanks in advance.

Are you saying that your capture card only does 1 hour at a time?

Ahhh…..good old VHS. Pop it in and record.

My exact problem is for example: if the VHS tape is 2 hours when I capture CS4 views it in less time, so I have distortion in the image and in the audio, the audio I fix wery well aplying the effect motion reduce the speed in a 40%, more or less.
I think the problem is the velocity of the recording, because when you record in a VHS tape in SP mode you can put 2 hours, if you do it in LP you can put 4 hours.
This also happens in minidv tape, you need to have the video camara that record that tape.Maybe in VHS tape you need also the original recorder.
