  Capturing subtitles from older Betacam tapes

  I have quite a number of older professional SP Betacam tapes (analog). They were broadcast programmes and contained close captioning. Now, I would like to digitize these video programs, and wonder whether or not the line 21 captioning can be captured at the same time as the video portion is digitized?
  Any leads or suggestions greatfully appreciated,
