    Hi

For some reason on random clips the audio is 14 frames out of sync with the video. Any Ideas why?

I’m capturing Panasonic HDX 900 footage in 1080psf24 mode on DVCPRO Tape. The tape is recorded at 59.94fps with a 3:2 cadence. I convert to 23.98 on the fly in the deck (panasonic aj-HD1400 DVCPRO HD) and capture via SDI – Kona card – FCP.

    My FCP 6.0.5 settings are:

Name: AJA Kona LH: 1080p 23.98 VFR DVPro HD
    Frame Size: 720 X 480 – NTSC DV (3:2) Anamorphic

    Quick time Video Setting:
    Digitizer: AJA 8 Bit Digitizer
    Input: 1080psF23:98 (1920 X 1080)

    Compressor: DV/ DVCPRO – NTSC
    Quality: 100%
    FPS: 23:98

    Quick time Audio Settings

    Device: AJA Kona
    Format:48.000 KHz 24 Bit 8 Chan

Capture card Supports Simultaneous play though capture

Thanks any Ideas would be helpful.
