    Hi,

This may have been answered before, but if so I haven’t found it…

I need to capture the video output of a PC at 720p 60fps, uncompressed, via an external device. FRAPS isn’t feasible because of the impact it has on the PC when capturing. The issue which I have run into on other HDMI capture solutions is that the capture device does not “advertise” itself as a monitor; therefore, the PC does not see the capture device, and does not know there is a “monitor” to mirror the screen to. Ergo, no video is sent by the PC to the capture device.

Does the BlackMagic Intensity Pro have the capability to be used like this? I called their tech support but for whatever reason couldn’t communicate the problem I had run into with other capture solutions (the PC not “seeing” the capture device as a monitor, therefore never sending video to the capture device).

    Thanks!
