  • Capturing in DVCPro HD and then converting to XDCAM

    Hi all,

The production company I worked for was asked by History Channel to shoot some footage with an XDCAM HD Camera and deliver the footage on a Hard Drive, but we don’t have one, so we were thinking of shooting in DVCPro HD, which I think is much better (4:2:2 / iFrame), and then converting the captured media to XDCAM HD but not with a QT Wrapper, we were hoping to be able to convert the QT captured media to a camera native XDCAM HD format, the question is how on earth do I do that? Is it possible? Does anyone know how to do that? I’ve looked everywhere but had no luck and would really appreciate it if someone could please help us out.

    Thanks for your time

    Gino
