Capturing HDV to pro res via firewire
I have been searching the forum for a very long time now and I give up. I’m hoping that somebody can send me to a link that I know I saw a couple of months ago.
I shot some greenscreen footage HDV and I’m trying to capture it as ProRes footage using firewire. I read a tutorial that gave detailed instructions how to do this, but for the life of me…I cannot find it now.

Chris Poisson wrote the tutorial, so if you use the search feature and search his posts you’ll find it…
