Capturing hdv in Final Cut 5
Using a Sony HDV Camera to digitze in hdv, Connecting through Firewire.
I have deck control but no video. If I switch to hdv-apple intermediate Codec,
as soon as I open Log & capture mode the tape starts digitizing. I would like to be able to log an hdv tape and then capture it.
Anyone know a way around this problem?Thanks in advance

If you havde control, you can digitize. Other than DV, HDV is not displayed in the window if you have a PCI graphics-card (see Apple’s late breaking news).
