  Capturing HDV in FCP with XH A1

  Could someone please breakdown what proper settings I need to capture with XH A1 in FCP.

  For example:

  If I’m shooting in HDV at:

  60i
  30F
  24F

  I know my capture needs to be either HDV or (ProRes 422 HQ) but then it has all the different options then don’t always make sense to me.

  What is my specific Sequence Preset for each above mentioned.

  What is the Device Preset for all above mentioned.

  Could someone please break it down for me.

  Is it HDV Firewire or is it HDV firewire basic etc.. etc…

  Thanks in advance (hopefully)

  The simpler and more detailed the better…(I do want best quality)
