Capturing HDV
I have been capturing HDV footage off of MiniDV into vegas 8.0 for the last year with no problems. I just upgraded to Vegas 10 and now when I capture it appears to have glitches when looking at the capture preview window, even though on the camera as it is capturing the video it looks great. Anybody have any idea what could be causing this? I am capturing to an external g raid hard drive. Thanks in advance for your help!

No idea, but I use hdvsplit instead of the capture program in Vegas. It’s a small program that only captures HDV from tape.

Have you checked the playback to see if it has glitches?
