capturing hdv 1080p
Hello,
Im trying to capture HDV 1080p30 via firewire (I didn’t even know you could shoot progressive HDV at 1080) and Im having trouble setting up the capture settings. I don’t seem to be able to change the frame rate and field dominance. I can’t edit the pre-existing HDV settings because they’re locked. Is there a way to unlock these or create a custom HDV capture setting from scratch. And this is not my project, so although I’m aware of the alternative workflow options, thats not my call on this one. Also, how horrible would it be if I just digitized the footage at 1080i60? Sure, duplicate one of these locked sequences in the sequence settings tab… it opens all ready for you to tweak!
