capturing HDV 1080 24p
Hey Everyone,
I need to edit a 30 minute piece that was shot on the sony z1u in 1080p24. I set the easy setup to HDV 1080p24, but when i log & capture the clips under compressor it still says 1080i60 with 29.97 fps, which obviously makes me have to render when i put it in the timeline. Should I do the whole project in 1080i60? While this cause any quality problems? When I export can I convert it back to 1080p24? I’m still new to the world of HDV and so far I much prefer to use DVC Pro HD…
