    I’ve been reading the other posts on this subject and I can’t get my FCP to capture at HDV 1080i 24 frames. Captures everything else no problem. Some posts mention a setup option that offers 24 frames but my 5.0 version doesn’t. Do I have to upgrade ? If so, can I get or buy a simple patch to allow 24 frame capture. Thanks.

    Thanks. Since my editing needs are basic, will Final Cut Express 4.0 handle the capture from 24 frames?

    Don’t know the answer to that, don’t know if it has the codecs.
