  Capturing footage from AJ HDX900

  Hi, really need some help with this! I have some footage that was shot in the U.S. on a panasonic AJ HDX900E at 1080/60i.
  I can play the tapes back ok in our panasonic hdx900, and have the camera connected up to FCP with firewire, but when I am trying to digitise the footage i have a couple of problems:
  – I cannot control the tape through final cut pro, which is really frustrating! which means i have to use the capture now instead of logging the tape and batch capture (we dont have log sheets)
  – using the capture now keeps flagging up lots of timecode breaks which arent in the original tape
  – once the footage is digitised and played in the fcp viewed, the audio goes out of sync

  does anyone have any ideas which A/V setting i should be using ? I currently have it set on are:
  sequence preset – DVCPro HD 1080i60
  capture preset – DCVPro 1080i60 48KHz
  Device control preset – Firewire NTSC

  would really appreciate any advice anyone has as ive never worked with NTSC footage before!
