When I capture my mini dv footage from a vx 2000 i’m getting an error message saying that the audio sample rate is different from the source tape. I’m using the DV NTSC 48 Khz setting to capture. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Check that the recorded media was not recorded at 12-bit or 32K. This usually displays during playback in the camera viewscreen.

    All the best,

Yeah you’re right, thanks. I’ll have to change the setting on the camera to 16 bit. In the meantime, is there anyway I can change the settings of Final Cut Pro to capture the 12 bit audio correctly? Thanks.
