Capturing and Editing HD footage – Vegas 6
Help!
I have to edit and deliver a HD project – I shot it with my Canon XH-A1 but cannot figure out how to capture HD footage with Vegas 6! Any sugestions / guides?

When you choose File> Capture Video you should see a dialog box that gives you a choice of either DV (external) or HDV (internal) capture. Did you get that far, or is there another problem?
