  • Capturing actual screen images?

Posted by Jon Boffa on February 25, 2007 at 9:00 pm

I’m working on an training DVD for a company and I need to record the video display of a PC and don’t want to resort to videotaping the monitor, but rather want the entire display image in its original form.

What’s the easiest way to do this on a Windows-based PC (a Dell standard office workstation)?

    THANKS!

The ‘Windows PC’ I speak of is the computer that houses the software which the training session I’m producing is based on, and which will have the screen images I need to capture.

Incidentally, I am a fellow Mac user and would like to know how to do the same thing on a G5.

    Much thanks.

As for Windows, you should try a windows based forum for that answer.
