Capturing 50fps DVC Pro HD Varicam Problem
I’m trying to capture some DVC Pro HD Varicam footage shot at 50fps. It seems to go in ok, but when I play it back the clip ends way before the point where I pressed ‘escape’ to stop the capture. It plays at half speed ok, but doesn’t reach the end of the clip. If I select to ingest the audio too I hear the sound playing back at normal speed right up to the point where I pressed ‘escape’.
I’ve been digitising 25fps footage all day with no problem.
My capture/input is set to AJA Kona LH: 720p 25 DVC Pro HD Varicam.
How do I get the whole of the clip I need?

What deck and what system hz?
Did you happen to start capturing on bars? If so, don’t. I’d suggest log and capture as well, instead of capture now.
