    Hey All!

    So the dreaded 24pA question.

I just got some Panasonic tapes (not sure what it’s shot on, but they are 1080 res and the tapes are marked as 24pA)

I have tried to capture with the preset in FCP with the advanced pull (2:3:3:2) down in the easy set up via firewire, but for some reason I can’t control the deck, and it looks like it is down converting the footage.

My question! Can I capture this stuff at 29.97 fps, and then do the pull down after? I read some place online about using Cinema Tools, which I have close to no experience with.

    Thanks for the help!
