    Hello,

First I liked to say that I read the other posts that were similar to this and I still can’t figure out my problem. I shoot with a Canon XL2 in normal 24p anamorphic. When I capture the footage I capture it from my camera into Final Cut using Adavance Pulldown Removal 2:3:3:2. I’ve tried to convert it in Cinema Tools but it doesn’t fix the problem.

The problem is there are little lines around the outlines of objects and people and makes the edges look a little jagged. it’s not noticable to the untrained eye, but I notice it and it drives me crazy. I can’t seem to figure out what I am doing wrong, when I finish editing the footage I export it with compressor, using Advance Format Conversions – DV NTSC Anamorphic. Then the normal steps in DVD Studio Pro. I want to let you know everything because I’m unsure where I loose the quality of the video. Is there anything I can do, to assure the best quality?

If I shoot in 24p Advanced, isn’t that only good if you plan on transferring your footage to film?

    Thank you in advance.

    Adam
