Capture VHS using Kona LHe into FCP
Hello- Is it possible to capture video from a consumer VHS deck using the Kona LHe? I only have the breakout cable. I read somewhere that you could connect a BNC to RCA connector to the Y/CVBS in on the breakout cable, but what about the audio capture? If this is possible does the LHe have the ability to enhance the VHS video? If so, how?

Connect the Y cable and change the input from component to Composite + y/c in the control panel. As far as audio, you should run through a mixer to boost any levels.

Jeremy- Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I do not have a mixer. Is there another way to get audio into FCP using the LHe card?
