    Hello to all,

I have doubt on a correct procedure: I have many clips digitized with the dv50 codec. Now I want to do the color correction in uncompressed 10 bit. Do I need to recapture all the clips or Is the same if I change the settings of the sequence and render all the clips with the uncompressed codec?

The clips was shoot on dvcpro50.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Changing the Sequence settings will not change, fix, or make better the quality of the original footage.

While the DV50 codec shares many of the excellent qualities of the DVCProHD codec, doing color color correction with any compression is really a nightmare – what is compressed, and do you know how to adjust color to balance for that compression?

You are on the right track.
