Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy Capture Scratch inside Capture Scratch

    If you select the Capture Scratch folder at the beginning of a project, FCP will create a new Capture Scratch folder in there.

    Simply select the Hard drive you want to capture to, FCP will always go to the default Capture Scratch folder.

    It shouldn’t do that on its own. If you’re not careful when you point FC at the capture location this can happen. I used to create a different folder for each project on my RAID. I stopped doing that because when I had multiple projects going if I forgot to reset FC to the correct scratch folder I’d end up mixing project media.
