  • Capture RGB computer signal using BlackMagic Intensity Thunderbolt in FCP 7? What are the settings?

I just bought a BlackMagic Intensity Thunderbolt, and I want to capture the output from a surveillance DVR which is an RGB/VGA apparently outputting at 1024×768 @60Hz. My systems is a Final Cut Pro 7 in my MacBook Pro running OS 10.7.5. I have a new converter cable which turns the VGA output of the computer into three component RCAs (although I’ve never this new cable before, so it may not be working?).

What are the proper settings to allow me to capture this signal?
Which of the numerous BlackMagic applications that came on the included DVD disk do I need to install to make this work?
    Thanks,
    David
