    I am capturing 1080i50 footage from a Sony Z1U. I used the easy setup built-in configuration to ensure a proper capture / device setting. But I get hung up on the message “No Output image in VCR HDV/DV. Change format”. When I change the VCR HDV/DV from HDV to Auto, the footage gets downconverted to DV! How do I capture the desired HDV footage?

    Your deck must be in dv mode.
