  capture problems

  I have a Sony FX1 and a Canon HV 30. I have Vegas Pro 9 and 7 both on two different computers. I cannot keep the capture video application working. It refuses to recognize either camera, ‘Device not available’. It was working an hour ago and then I went back to it and now it won’t work. I also have HDV split, that’s not working either. Windows movie maker will capture it, but not in HDV. Can anyone please help me before I jump off a cliff. Thanx, Tom
