Capture problem-lots of hd space but indicates none
Tried the basic forum but no response, maybe someone here can help. I am trying to capture video from my camera using sony vegas 7. I have been doing this for several years with no problem, now when I try to set the capture to a capture folder it gives me an indication on the available recording time of 00:00:15;15, but I have 300 gb of space on the drive I am pointing to. This has never happened before. I just finished putting film into the same area and noticed that the time available was really short as I was capturing the film. Now it looks like I only have 15 seconds of available time. Any ideas? Thanks

For whatever reason, it is working now. I had restarted my computer before but that didn’t help. I just restarted it again and now it is showing the correct time available.??? Thanks anyway gang.

Yeah, i tried it some years ago because i was constantly
getting dropped frames on an old pc i had, and nothing else
helped. It was a big help back then as a simple, small, free
DV capture utility that is so solid, and still use it these days whenever i have DV Captures to do.Steve Rhoden
