I logged and captured a bunch of clips. I intended to import audio and video but by mistake captured video only. Is there a way that I can recapture the audio and video of those clips without relogging everything?

Highligh all your clips and then OPT-click on them, choose MAKE OFFLINE, and delete them from the disk. Now, this leaves your clips intact…the stuff you logged. Now all you need to do is add audio.

Scroll to the right in the brower until you get to the TRACKS column. Option click on V1 and you should see a drop down menu. Select 1V, 2A. This will then tell the clips to capture audio as well.

    Now recapture the footage.

Ross, Thanks very much. This did work, save one thing: in the two instances where you said to press the option key I had to press the control key. Thanks again. Victoria

Dang it…I keep doing that. I always mean control. Since I have a multi-button mouse, I use that and not the keyboard.

    Glad it worked.
