  capture problem

  I just purchased FCP 4.0 and am trying to capture the video from my Sony DX2000 camcorder, using a firewire . I used Easy Setup. Pretty standard… but when I start Capture Now it gives me the message “Capture encountered a problem reading the data on your source tape. This could be due to a problem with the tape. Capture aborted”.

  This tape will capture with no problem to my old software, Videostudio 8.
  I also get this same message with other tapes in trying to capture in FCP.

  Any idea what the problem might be? Thanks.
