  “capture now” + time code?

  In FCP 5.04, when I do a “Capture Now” through the log & capture window with the HVX connected by Firewire, it always starts the timecode at “0”
  I was told to put the camera in “free run” and then the timecode would be captured with the picture but so far it ain’t working.
  Is there anyway to do this?
  I want to get the camera’s timecode to enter FCP with the picture.

  2nd best would be to be able to set a start timecode in FCP as I begin the capture.

  But always starting at “0” is a pain
