I’m having a problem with “Capture Now”. I’m trying to do a rolling capture of some footage from a DVD player. I change my Machine Control setting to “Non controllable device” start the DVD then hit Capture Now.After about 2 seconds I get this error: “Capture Now has reached the end of the tape. All existing footage between the point where you started the capture and the end of the tape was captured successfully.”… I end up with a 20 frame clip in my “Capture Scratch” folder but nothing in the actual Bin. I’m positive I used the exact same process to do this a few months ago and it worked…

Just use MPEGstreamclip to pull the footage off of the DVD.

Yeah, I ended up ripping the DVD using a similar application. It would have been more convenient and quicker to shuttle through the DVD and grab the clips I needed. It was kind of embarrassing fumbling around in front of a client. My own fault for not doing a test capture before she showed up. Like I said in my earlier post, I did this a few months ago and it worked fine….
