  • Capture logging issue – Could be a Bug?

Posted by Adam Roestenburg on October 23, 2006 at 11:16 am

I have no trouble capturing the footage from my device,

however when i press ‘escape’ to stop the capture at the time i want, the clip does not appear in my browser bin??

The clip is being captured though in the capture scratch folder, so i end up having to import the clip into the bin.

It seems the link to the clip in the browser bin does not want to appear.

I have tried several setting changes and scratch disk options to nut out the problem and have had no luck?

please help if you have experienced the same problem and know the solution

    Regards

    Adam

PS: many thanks to the genius to figure this one out.

You’re sure you’re looking at the right bin? Perhaps you were an Avid editor in a previous life and believe that the bin it’s capturing to is the current open bin? It captures to the bin you have selected as the logging bin. Right click on the bin you want in the browser window and select logging bin.

You need to log and capture instead of capture now.
