Capture Issue Help please:
First, forgive me… this is my first experience with FCP. For the past 3 years I’ve been using Adobe PPro. I just moved to Florida, and this station is working on FCP-HD ver 4.5 using the Pinnacle Cinewave IO device. It’s been working great according to the editors… but Friday, the capturing started failing. The device will go through the entire capture process, right up to even indicating a successful capture. Then, apparently, there’s no file captured.
As you can imagine, this is a little counter-productive and very frustrating. Does anyone have any ideas on what we might have done to cause this… and how we can fix it?

YOu might have set an out point JUST BEYOND the last frame of timecode. The symptom you described is what happens to me when I do that. Move the outpoint a few seconds earlier and see what happens.
